Committee Descriptions:

Membership Committee: The membership committee works to establish communication/marketing materials that promote membership to new members as well as encourage the retention of current members. Marketing efforts include: eNews, membership promotional materials such as pamphlets, brochures, etc.

Professional Development/Education Committee: The professional development committee works to provide the best PDH opportunities for our members. They work to establish programs at events and work to recruit the most qualified speakers. The newest addition to the Professional Development Committee is to promote the latest opportunity to those who are interested in taking the Civil Breadth Specifications, P.E. Exam Review.

Government Relations Committee: The Government Relations Committee monitors legislative issues that may affect the P.E. profession. The individuals who serve on this committee are passionate about the P.E. profession and will do everything in their power to become involved in local government issues.

Engineers Week Committee: The Engineers Week Committee works with the Professional Development Committee to invite top-notch speakers to attend our annual E-Week events. This committee coordinates a theme as well as agenda for a 2-Day event all in addition to recruiting an Engineers Week Dinner speaker.

Bridge Building: If you are interested in coordinating logisitics and working to market the 2009 Bridge Building event, please contact John Migliaccio, P.E. There are plenty of great opportunities to promote this program to the state-wide school districts.

MATHCOUNTS: The group dedicated to coordinating MATHCOUNTS programs works to push sponsorships and involvment from the local communities as well as coordinate all logistics to contribute to making each competition successful. If you are interested in becoming an active member of the MATHCOUNTS team, please contact Noelle Cochran, P.E. or Paul Gulman, P.E. for more information.
